In this new role, Kietz will oversee marketing and communications strategies, with a specific focus on branding, product development, digital and direct marketing. He will report to Adam Stettner, Reliant Funding’s founder and CEO.
Kietz is recognized as one of the leading marketing executives and pioneers in the U.S. payments industry, having served in senior executive roles at Citigroup and Chase. His marketing and strategy experience includes traditional retail banking, credit cards, subscription services, Internet banking, loyalty programs and mobile software creation and distribution.
In 2008, Bank Systems and Technology named Kietz to the Elite 8, most innovative bankers of the year.
Other accomplishments include advising payments startups, which were subsequently purchased by Intuit and Square. Kietz also has extensive agency experience, serving in senior roles at Inte Q, LLC, OgilvyOne, Young & Rubicam and Saatchi & Saatchi. Before joining Reliant Funding, Steve was president of Inte Q LLC.
He holds an MBA in marketing from Baruch College and a BA from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
